Alamosaurus sanjuanensis, a Late Cretaceous titanosaurian sauropod from southwestern North America, has been the subject of detailed bone histology studies that reveal both primitive and derived features.
This specimen was recovered from the Trans-Pecos Region of West Texas. The specimen itself measures approximately 2" tall x 3" wide (at its widest point). It comes in a cushioned, black display box, labeled with species and location.
